Michelle Agbessi, of Beninese origin and born in Côte d'Ivoire, obtained a master's degree in Insurance from the Félix Houphouët-Boigny Polytechnic Institute in Côte d'Ivoire. Eager to broaden her horizons and enhance her skills in finance, she is currently pursuing a master’s in management (PGE) at HEC Paris, thanks to the PACT (Programme d'Accompagnement des Talents d'Afrique) program, supported by the HEC Foundation.
In parallel with her studies, Michelle is interning at a strategy and business turnaround consulting firm, where she specializes in assisting struggling businesses. This experience strengthens her desire to contribute to economic growth in Africa by combining financial expertise with social impact.

Michelle’s commitment to improving access to education, particularly for women, stems from a personal journey marked by the realization of educational inequalities. Having witnessed the barriers that many young girls face in accessing quality education, she made the decision to actively contribute. Michelle is involved in associations such as HEC PACT & Friends, which facilitate international education access for African talent and promote the visibility of Africa. She is also a member of SEO London, an organization that, among other initiatives, advocates for the empowerment of women in society and their potential to overcome barriers.
Ultimately, Michelle aspires to create support structures to help women access education and realize their full potential, both personally and professionally, contributing to sustainable change in Africa.

Son engagement pour l’accès à l’éducation, notamment pour les femmes, découle d’un parcours personnel marqué par la prise de conscience des inégalités éducatives. En effet, ayant été témoin des obstacles que rencontrent de nombreuses jeunes filles pour accéder à une éducation de qualité, elle a décidé de s’investir activement. Michelle fait partie d’associations telles que HEC PACT & Friends, qui facilitent l’accès à l’éducation internationale pour les talents africains et œuvrent pour la promotion de l'Afrique. Elle est également membre de SEO London, une organisation qui promeut, entre autres, l'émancipation des femmes dans la société et leur potentiel à surmonter les barrières.
À terme, Michelle aspire à créer des structures d’accompagnement pour aider les femmes à accéder à l’éducation et à se réaliser pleinement, tant sur le plan personnel que professionnel, contribuant ainsi à un changement durable en Afrique.
