MMEG awards grants to women studying at accredited universities in the United States, Canada, France, and South Africa, and select universities in Latin America and the Caribbean

 

US-Canada Program

MMEG awards education grants on a competitive basis to exceptional women from developing countries who are enrolled as full-time students for the following academic term in accredited universities in the United States and Canada, have demonstrated financial need, and are committed to working for the well-being of women and children. Applicants are screened by an all-volunteer, independent selection committee, and grants are awarded by the Board of Directors by April every year. Applications are accepted between September 15 and January 15 each year and successful grantees are notified by April.


FRANCE PROGRAM

MMEG awards grants on a competitive basis to exceptional women from developing countries who are enrolled as full-time students for the following academic term in accredited universities in France, have demonstrated financial need, and are committed to working for the well-being of women and children. Applicants are screened by an all-volunteer, independent selection committee, and grants are awarded by the Board of Directors. Applications are accepted between October 15 and January 15 each year and successful grantees are notified by April.


LAtin America AND CARIBBEAN Program

MMEG awards grants on a competitive basis to exceptional women enrolled in at least two courses in the academic term following the awarding of grants at one of the Latin American and Caribbean universities listed below and who will be enrolled for the academic term following the awarding of grants. Applicants are screened by an all-volunteer, independent selection committee, and grants are awarded by the Board of Directors. Applications are accepted between June 1 and September 30 and successful grantees are notified in January of the following year.

SOUTH Africa Program

MMEG awards grants on a competitive basis to exceptional women enrolled in the academic term following the awarding of grants at at one of the universities linked below. Applicants are screened by an all-volunteer, independent selection committee, and grants are awarded by the Board of Directors by December every year. Applications are accepted between May 15 and September 14 each year and successful grantees are notified in January of the following year. Trinity Washington University program

MMEG has a special partnership with Trinity Washington University in our home town of Washington DC to award grants to exceptional women studying at this university. Applications are accepted between September 15 and January 15 each year and successful grantees are notified by April.
